Even as a Registered Dietitian, it’s not easy to weed through the misinformation online. With ever growing frustration, I decided to create my own space for those who are lost. I want to make nutrition accessible, not flooded with paid subscriptions and expensive supplements. It should be easy to understand and easy to follow. 

Blue roots started from the the ground up after a trip to Costa Rica. During a trip to this “blue zone”, I realized that I wanted to practice in a more hybrid nutrition space; one that is both science based, but also brings us back to the core roots of nutrition. 

I currently have a BS in nutritional sciences, an MS in exercise science & nutrition, and am currently on the path to obtain my IFNCP credential in functional nutrition.
